Real Light Leaks with DSLR

I LOVE Light leaks. Inspired by all those great iPhone Vintage Camera Apps. I wanted to create some real light leaks of my own. For this I used a Canon 5D Mark II and an Olympus 1.8f manual lens I bought off of ebay for $35. The Olympus has a slightly longer distance to film plan than the Canon. So I was able to just hold the lens in one hand and camera in the other. Free floating the lens, unmounted, felt so liberating. I was able to add a variety of effects, like selective focus and super shallow focus band. And what better subjects than a trip to the Zoo with my family and friends. These images are straight out of the camera. No post editing, no photoshop, nada. I may have to organize a fashion shoot shot this way.
