I hope to start doing this more often. Have every weekend be pastry day, where Jill bakes something, I photograph it, then we eat it with the neighbors. Which is exactly what happened when my mother-in-law and wife decides to make this saturday night desert. Really, everyone aught to be making their own crust. It’s so easy and it makes an incredible treat. Store-bought crust be damned!
This pie was completely demolished by 6 adults and 2 toddlers in a matter of seconds. All that’s left was a lot of fork-scraping and plate-licking.
